Working my way
Through the daily grind
Smiles returning
Once so hard to find

New friendship found
Sharing so much
Life falling into place
The heart’s gentle touch

Teetering on the line
Not wanting to cross
Opening my heart
Chancing the loss

Moving too fast
In my heart of hearts
Mind keeps me steady
Using my smarts

I can’t call it off
It’s too late for me now
No more acting left
It’s time for the final bow

Cryptic and obvious
What more can I do
Draw you a picture
“I’ve fallen for you”
